About the Role

Join our passionate team as a Disability Support Worker at Discovering You Support Services. This part-time opportunity is about more than just work — it’s about helping individuals with disabilities achieve their goals and live more independently through personalised, meaningful support.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting with daily living (e.g. personal care, meals, household tasks, behaviour support)

• Supporting social, recreational, and community participation

• Advocating for participants and connecting them with the right supports

• Documenting client progress and ensuring accurate records

• Collaborating with families, other support workers, and care teams

• Promoting a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment

What We’re Looking For

• Understanding of the disability sector and complex needs

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Empathy, patience, and a passion for person-centred care

• Required checks/certifications:

  • NDIS Worker Screening

  • Working with Children Check

  • First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)

  • Current driver’s licence & reliable transport
